5 Day Tour

Day 1 - Our first visit will be to GlenCoe, famous for its mountain range and dramatic landscape, here you will be able to take as may photographs as your heart desires, and walk for as long as your legs shall carry you. Once you have explored enough of the Coe, we will head off towards Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the U.K, and spend the night here for a well deserved rest.

Day 2 – There is plenty to do here before we set off for the day, including the Ben Nevis Distillery and the Old Inverlochy Castle. Next we will head towards Glenfinnan. This town has become most famous for 2 reasons, one is the Glenfinnan Monument, over looking the loch and was built to remember those who fought and died for Prince Charles Edward Stuart, also known as, Bonnie Prince Charles.

The 2nd reason is the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which may be better recognised as the bridge from the Harry Potter films! Here you will be able to watch the crossing of the famous Jacobite Steam Train, described as one of the worlds greatest railway journeys. From here we make our way towards Loch Ness to bed down for the night.

Day 3 - Loch Ness, the place where myths and legends were formed. World famous for the Loch Ness Monster, there is much more to do here than hunt for the creature. Our first stop will be Urquhuart Castle, that sits on the loch's shore line. Despite being in ruins, this castle really captures the imagination, you can explore its broken walls and shattered doors until your heart is content. The plaques on the walls give you great insight into how the castle would have looked during its high days, as well as full access to the private beach/loch, where yes you can look for the Loch Ness Monster!

There is also an opportunity, time permitting, to take a cruise on the Loch using one of the local companies and see this incredible area from a different perspective.

Day 4 - Our first stop of the day will be Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed castle of the land. Situated at the mouth of 3 lochs, it is believed to be one of the most important and powerful castles of its time. After here we will travel to the Isle of Skye.

Day 5 - The Isle of Skye was once cut off from the mainland, only accessible via a ferry, however in 1995 the Skye Bridge was completed. The islands popularity has grown in leaps and bounds ever since, and it's not surprising as it is absolutely beautiful. To explore this we will head across the island to the Talisker Distillery, stopping off at the Sligachan Bridge. The water flowing under the bridge is said to be enchanted, with a tale of a daughter's love for her mother and wish granting faeries. It is a perfect place for a photo opportunity, or maybe once you have heard the tale, you to will want to dip your face in these enchanted waters. It is then on to the distillery. Here you can either visit the distillery itself, or maybe hire a boat out onto the loch which leads to the sea and around Scotland’s coastline for a perfect end to your 5 day tour?
